01
This Cookies Policy explains the use of cookies and similar storage or access technologies on the Wonders Workshop website.
It describes the website configuration used by Wonders Workshop and the limited circumstances in which infrastructure technologies may operate.
02
A cookie is a small text file that a website or service may store on a browser or device. Similar technologies can include browser storage, tags, pixels, and other tools that store information or recognise a device.
These technologies can support essential website functions, security, preferences, statistics, advertising, or personalisation. Whether consent is required depends on the technology, its purpose, and the law that applies.
03
Wonders Workshop does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, behavioural profiling, personalisation, visitor accounts, or marketing.
When a visitor enters a valid code in The Black Concord Reader Vault, the site sets one strictly necessary, secure, HttpOnly first-party cookie for the corresponding book archive. The cookie is used only to confirm authorised access and is not used to track browsing activity.
04
The Reader Vault may set either of the following first-party cookies after successful code verification. A visitor receives only the cookie or cookies for the book archives they unlock.
Both cookies are marked Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, use the host-only __Host- prefix, and expire no later than 90 days after they are set. They contain a signed access token, not the printed book code, an email address, or an advertising identifier.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may also operate strictly necessary network and security technologies when required to deliver the site, manage traffic, prevent abuse, or protect the service.
05
The current site uses only technologies that are necessary to provide requested Reader Vault access or to deliver and protect the website. It does not intentionally deploy optional analytics, advertising, personalisation, embedded media, or profiling technologies.
For that reason, the current site does not display a banner asking visitors to accept optional cookies. If non-essential technologies are introduced, they will remain inactive until the information and visitor choices required by applicable law are provided.
06
No analytics platform, advertising pixel, behavioural advertising tool, or cross-site profiling technology is installed on this website.
No consent-dependent analytics, advertising, or profiling service is active on this website.
07
The website contains ordinary outgoing links to Amazon product pages and to Wonders Workshop profiles on Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. These services are not embedded in the current site.
When you follow an external link, you leave Wonders Workshop. The destination website may then use cookies or similar technologies according to its own policies and settings. Wonders Workshop does not control the technologies used after you enter an external service.
08
Most browsers allow you to inspect, delete, or block cookies and other stored website data. The available controls and their names vary by browser and device.
Deleting or blocking a Reader Vault access cookie will not affect the public website, but it will require the valid book code to be entered again before the corresponding protected archive or download can be opened.
09
This policy will be revised if the website’s technical configuration or use of cookies materially changes.
Where applicable law requires consent for a future technology, that technology will remain inactive until appropriate information and visitor controls are provided.
10
The Privacy Policy explains the broader handling of personal information, including technical delivery data, email enquiries, external links, retention, and visitor rights.
This Cookies Policy focuses specifically on information stored on or accessed from a browser or device. The two documents should be read together.
